Gunmen invade
homes, kill two

men

   Mr. Williams's wife, Carol, was also shot and wounded.
   The Police Information Centre said that around 9.30 last night, Mr. Williams and his family were at their home at Marie Avenue, entertaining visitors, when two gunmen entered through an open door.
   The gunmen ordered everyone to lie on the floor. After everybody obeyed, the gunmen opened fire hitting Mr. Williams and his wife, then ran away.
   The wounded couple were rushed to the Spanish Town Hospital, then transferred to the Kingston Public Hospital where Mr. Williams died and his wife was treated and sent home.
   The Bridgeport police who are investigating, have not yet arrived at a motive for the shooting.
   Mr. Jackson was shot dead at his home about 11.45 last night by gunmen who stole his Lancer car, registered FR0789.
   In this case too the police have not come up with a motive for the slaying.

GUNMEN last night shot dead two men whose homes they invaded in separate incidents in Portmore, St. Catherine, and Norwich, Portland. The wife of one of the men was also shot and wounded.
   Dead are Mr. Prince Williams, 36, recording artiste of Marie Avenue, Edgewater, Portmore, St. Catherine, and Mr Owen Jackson of Norwich, near Port Antonio, Portland.
